Wet Belt replacement edinburgh

The most common wet belt we replace is the Ford Eco Blue 

They are common for early failure usually caused by wrong oil selection. 

We replace a large volume of these and only use genuine parts.

We replace the below parts 

• Timing belt and tensioner
• Oil pump belt 
• Timing cover 
• Sump 
• Oil filter and oil 
• Coolant 
• Oil pick up tube 

We require the vehicle 1.5 days to carry out the replacement 

Fully fitted price is £850+VAT all labour and parts hold a 1 year warranty. (Ranger is £1100+vat and rear wheel drive is £1000+vat due to larger sump and diff removal on Ranger)

To add a full service it is an extra £150+vat

A well known engine for timing belt failure. Usual failure is due to belt breakdown and blocking of oil pathways. 

We use only genuine parts and clean all pathways while replacing

• Water pump

• Drive belt 
• Friction washer and crank bolt 
• Sump is removed and strainer cleaned

To add a full service it is an extra £110+vat 

2018 Eco Boost+ these can be fitted with the newer 1.0 chain driven engine. They still have a wet oil pump belt which can fail. If you are unsure which version you have please contact us. These belts are £910+vat for replacement
